First of all, the food is delicious in both taste and presentation! I believe that the price was a bit high, especially for how scant the entree looked in its large plate, and because the vegetable on the side was actually a teensy bit of green on top of the generous salmon filet. The gnocchi covered the bottom of the large plate, but stopped short of climbing on the sides. The Vesuvio potatoes were delicious and enough for two to share--they were no longer on the menu, but our server successfully convinced the chef to make some for us, anyway. The bruschetta was wonderful, three thick slices, which, when combined with the complimentary fresh bread, was a large enough serving for sharing between us. AND...this review is focused on the server. My husband and I celebrated our 52nd wedding anniversary today. We dined at Seranello in Wheeling, primarily because I love the Gnocchi a la Vodka. Damon was our server. From the moment he approached our table and introduced himself to us, Damon's care, attention, generosity, service, and overall professionalism went way above and beyond our prior positive experiences at this establishment and at most, if not all, other dining venues since pre-Covid times! THIS is worth paying for, THIS is worth dining out for, THIS is worth recommendations to friends and family, THIS is what makes dining out SPECIAL! Damon was attentive, cordial, helpful, proactive, efficient....he is the server all others might aspire to become! THANK YOU, DAMON! Because of you, we WILL return!

Our family has celebrated two bridal showers here and they always do an amazing job for such a large group. The food is sometimes hit or miss but the service is always great! We love the staff there more than the food. There is also ample parking and is wheel chair friendly.

I was in Wheeling for work and stayed at The Westin, so Saranello's was my go to for breakfast and dinner. The breakfast buffet is pretty good, the food is super fresh and they offer a lot of options. Eggs, bacon and sausage, potatoes, yogurt and fruit, toast, muffins, fruit, coffee and juice. It's a good spread! I also dined for dinner once and I like the bread with olive oil to start. They had quite a few dinner options as well but I ultimately went with the gnocchi al a vodka. The gnocchi was cooked perfectly, the vodka sauce was amazing. The fresh basil was a nice touch as well. The service is consistently good as well and the prices fair.

One of my favorite brunches in the area! Mimosas, and a brunch buffet you can't go wrong! Saranellos is located right next to the Westin. There is plenty of free parking and has handicap parking right outside the main door for accessibility. We had reservations for brunch (only on Sundays from 10am-2pm) and were seated in a booth. The booths were large and spacious for the 3 of us. Once we were seated a waiter came by and offered us beverages (bottomless mimosas are included in the brunch price!), and we were on our way. The buffet was lavish with assorted breakfast meats, omelet station, carving station, entrees and of course, desserts. For the cost per person, the buffet is a great offering. The quality of food is great, and there is a great variety. The only reason I had to remove a star is because of the service, we had trouble getting beverages refilled even just water. They also kept taking our silverware and we would have to keep finding someone for new silverware to eat. Otherwise, we had a great experience and I would absolutely recommend and will bring family and friends bad. :)
